You were AMAZING at our Time Out for Women at the Colorado Convention Center! We hope that the event was just the perfect “time out” that you needed.  We just can’t thank you enough for ALL that you did to help fill those seats and find the women that needed to be there.  We could not do these events without our team…and even if we could, we wouldn’t! You are SUCH an important and FUN part of the event.

We loved working with and meeting you at the event. A huge thanks to our team leaders for leading our team.  They have such an incredible passion for the event and for the women in your area and it shows in everything they do.

The comments have been SO great about the experience the women had… from the moment they entered the venue doors, to finding their seats, and enjoying the event, they experienced TOFW at its best. And we know a huge part of that is because of your great help. Be sure to watch for the THANK YOU email from TOFW and SHARE it once you get it.

It's Here! DENVER Event This Week!

Labor Day Special: Exciting news!  The Labor Day Special increased our registration by leaps and bounds!  In fact, we're over our REGISTRATION GOAL in DENVER!!!!  Woo HOO!!!!  We're so happy that so many more women in the Denver Area will get to come to Time Out for Women.  Thanks for taking the share challenge seriously and spreading the word.  It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we're glad it went so well.

Event Assignments 

You should have heard from your Team Captain by now what your Team Event Assignment is.  If you haven't heard, please call and ask her!  We've just added a new tab to our blog with descriptions of each of the different areas that you may have been assigned to.  Take a minute to READ THE ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTIONS and make sure you know what your specific assignment entails.  If you have questions, you can ask your Team Captain and of course you'll want to make sure you Don't miss...

TEAM TRAINING at the Event

At our team training meetings, you will be given details and information specific to your venue and in depth instructions for your area.  It's time to become a "Know it All" again!

Friday 4:00pm: TEAM LEADER training (Team Lead, Team Captains, Scholarship Coordinator )

Friday 4:30pm: TEAM training (All Team Members)

Saturday 7:15am: TEAM training (All Team Members)

Watch your email this week~!  We'll be sending an email to every woman who registered for TOFW Denver with lots of important event details including info on parking, lunch and an event schedule.  Once you get the email, send it on to anyone you think might have missed it!  Especially those ladies who might be a little less savvy with their inboxes and junkmail filters.

We have some EXCITING NEWS! On Labor Day (Monday, September 3rd), we will be offering a BUY-ONE-GET-ONE-FREE deal for our September Events, including DENVER! Yes, that's right. Two tickets for $72. It's one AMAZING deal!

So call up, email, and Facebook all of your friends and family who missed pre-registration and share the great news! The offer will be available online from Sunday night at midnight until Monday night at midnight and in the store on Monday.

This is a one time only deal and has never been done before, SO SPREAD THE WORD!  We really want the teams to help create buzz...

PRE-EVENT EMAIL: We will be sending an email to the registered attendees (including YOU and scholarship recipients) the week prior to the event. This email will include parking information, lunch details and a reminder about the service project donations. Please tell people to watch for it. TICKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED, this email will have ALL of the information they will need about the event.
EVENT INFO: The Denver Event Webpage also gives all details about parking, lunch, special needs etc. You should also familiarize yourself with the Team FAQ tab if you haven't reviewed it  for a while, as you will be getting LOTS of questions from people that know you are a team member.

TEAM MEMBER EVENT ASSIGNMENTS

You will be receiving information from your team lead or captain in the next week about your event assignments and next week’s blog post will have information about what your assignment will entail.

TEAM MEETING FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Please arrive at 4:25pm on Friday and 7:10am on Saturday for our team meetings that will begin PROMPTLY at 4:30 pm on Friday and 7:15 am on Saturday. GO TO THE WILL CALL TABLE and you will be directed to our meeting room. PLEASE give yourself enough time to travel, park, and walk to the team meetings. We will have A LOT to cover in a LITTLE time, so please do not be late. ;)
Team Attire: Nice Casual (no jeans for team members). You will see women in slacks, skirts and everything in between. Wear whatever you feel great in!
Reserved Seats: For Team Members with an Event Assignment we will allow you to reserve a seat for you and one other. You will be asked to NOT save entire rows. Please note that if you have a larger group we ask that they come when the doors open and save you a seat.
Watching the Event: You will be released from your station when the event starts or just shortly after, so you shouldn’t miss anything!

Send us a story (500-700 words) about a journey you’ve taken, a goal you’ve reached, or what you’re doing to SEEK the GOOD. The WINNER will have her story featured in the “Women Like You” section on tofw.com, have two reserved seats on the front row at the TOFW event (tickets not included), and enjoy a lunch backstage with the presenters! CONGRATULATIONS on having over 1400 women registered during pre-registration!

We have found a GREAT amount of women to join us, Let's find MORE!!!

WE STILL HAVE SEATS LEFT, Let's FILL 150 MORE TOFW  seats to reach our Registration Goal!

Please keep thinking about the women you know who have not registered and let's see how we can get them to join us.  The feedback in recent weeks is that people needed to wait to register until they knew fall schedules better.  So, as those schedules fall into place REMIND THEM to REGISTER.  ;)

Pre-Registration Report

PRE-REGISTRATION REPORT IS IN

Wow ladies, registration grew so much this week!  Nice work!  

We have reached a registration amount a little lower than the last time we came to Denver, but with all of the feedback you gave about people wanting to wait to register until fall schedules are more in place, I bet we will have lots more register before the event.  We have the potential to make this Denver event bigger than it was in last year!  

Here is a little history for you about Denver Registration through the years:

In 2003 we had over 2800 register for TOFW. (Wow, we really used to have big crowds!)
In 2004 we had over 1600  register for  TOFW. 
In 2005 we had over 1800  register for  TOFW. 
In 2007 we had over 1200  register for  TOFW.
In 2009 we had over 1500  register for  TOFW.
In 2011 we had over 1600  register for  TOFW.
In 2012 we now have 1424 registered!  

I know you are the TEAM to help Denver get back in the groove and not let anyone miss their TIME OUT!

Scholarship: I have re-opened scholarship and increased the limit so we can fit in who want to be at TOFW but just cannot afford it.  Lisa can now accept Scholarship submissions again until Monday, September 10th, or until the new limit is reached.
